The Church of St Anthony, also called the Church of St Anthony the Hermit, is located in the village of Skorno pri Sostanju. It was built in the 16th century and is known for its simple yet distinctive architectural style. The interior of the church reflects a rich history, as it has been renovated several times over the centuries. In the past it was an important religious and cultural centre for the surrounding inhabitants.
The church is especially active during the celebration of the feast day of St Anthony, the church's patron saint, when Skorno every year holds a traditional auction of meat delicacies, in which locals and visitors take part. This event gives the local community an opportunity to socialise and to preserve old customs.
