Raduha

Raduha Raduha is a mountain peak, 2062 metres high, located in the eastern part of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. It is separated from the rest of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps range by the deep gorge of the Savinja River. Its ridge stretches from northeast to southwest and includes several prominent peaks: Jelovec (1845 m), Lanež (1925 m), Mala Raduha (2029 m) and the highest peak, Velika Raduha (2062 m).

On the southeastern slopes, meadows, shrubland and larch forest intertwine, where the mountain pastures of Arta, Javorje, Kal and Loka are located. On the Loka pasture stands the Koča na Loki hut (1534 m). In the western part of the slope, at an altitude of 1500 metres, lies the Snežna jama (Snow Cave), considered the highest-lying tourist cave in Slovenia.

The western and northern sides of the mountain are more rocky and descend over steep slopes towards the Javorje and Grohat pastures, where the Koča na Grohatu hut (1460 m) is located.
