The filial church of St Anthony the Hermit is located in the far end of the Podvolovljek valley. It is first mentioned in written sources in 1631.
The church has a nave with an attached bell tower and a rectangular presbytery. At its core the building is still medieval, while the nave was rebuilt in 1662.
The interior was painted in 1906 by Franc Plesnik. Until 1903 the church still had a Baroque altar from the 18th century. The new altar of St Anthony the Hermit in the Neo-Renaissance style was made by Ivan Cesar.
In recent years the church has been thoroughly renovated; in 1992 the exterior of the church was renovated. A year later the church was re-roofed with new larch-shingle covering.
Since 1994 the church has also had automatic bell-ringing in the morning, at noon and in the evening. In 1995 the interior of the church was renovated; repainting, refreshing of the paintings and restoration of the Stations of the Cross.
