Where to Go for Lunch?

Sunday lunch is, of course, served on Sunday, when the whole family gathers around the table. A traditional Slovenian lunch often starts with beef soup, and mushroom soup is a favourite as well. For the main meat course you can serve roast pork, cutlets in sauce or Viennese-style schnitzel. Gostilna pri Medvedu is located at Cirila Debeljaka 7 A in Celje. They are known for homemade Slovenian food. They offer well-known Slovenian specialities and their own desserts. Gostišče “PRI VIDI” in Zavodnje

Gostišče “PRI VIDI” is just 5 kilometres from Topolšica along a beautiful, winding asphalt road through the forest. As you climb, you enjoy a lovely view of Šoštanj and Velenje the whole way. Then, all of a sudden, the small idyllic village of Zavodnje appears before you, home to just 300 residents, and the very first house on the right as you enter the village is the wonderful inn “PRI VIDI” with its large car park.
The village also has a charming little church with an old rectory, all renovated and well worth seeing, perfect for a lovely souvenir photo. Gostišče ”PRI VIDI” can welcome around 150 guests in five rooms of various sizes with delightful furnishings. On the ground floor by the entrance there is a bar and a small dining room for groups of up to 15 people. From there you step into a wonderful glass-covered garden seating 20, plus a small open-air terrace for 15, which is especially sought after in summer.

Gostišče kegljišče Ermenc

They are set in an exceptional location, in the heart of one of Slovenia's most beautiful valleys, amid meadows, surrounded by forests, with an unforgettable view of Raduha, Komen and Ter. They sit right by the main road, and even from a distance you can spot the children's playground next to the covered terrace and the large car park. Guests can choose between two dining rooms, a smaller one for up to 25 people and a larger one for up to 70. Savinek društvo kuharjev is the new name of the Savinek inn, where they have been making savinjski želodec and baking homemade bread in a traditional bread oven for more than 50 years.
