Bumpy pump track - PUMPTRACK

PUMPTRACK The course is located on the green between the Gustav Šilih and Anton Aškerc primary schools.

A pump track or bumpy / pumping course is made up of rounded bumps and turns that are rhythmically connected into a circular whole. The varied layout of the course offers a diverse and fun, yet safe, cycling experience even on smaller areas.

The asphalt track is available for cyclists, scooters, inline skaters, roller skates, skateboards,… It is suitable for all cyclists, regardless of their prior experience. It allows both learning to ride a bike and training for top cyclists, because fast movement around the course is physically intense. On a pump track you do not move by pushing off or pedalling, but by moving your body up and down. It is precisely this innovative way of propulsion that sets pump tracks apart from other facilities and tracks.

The total ridable (asphalted) surface of the course is 480 m², and it consists of two tracks – the larger one is more suitable for users with more experience, and the smaller one for beginners.
