Rep Waterfall

 Rep Waterfall

Set out on a pleasant half-hour walk. From the magical, 250-year-old mill of the Žager homestead, the path leads past a larger pond with a diverse animal and plant world to the refreshing Rep Waterfall.

The Žager mill and Petek's pond. The circular route begins along the road in the Podvolovjek valley. The striking and well-preserved Žager mill, more than 250 years old, is one of the few still-functioning water-powered mills. It is caught up in the lush vegetation that thrives along the Lučnica stream, not far from the main road. The path leads through a mysterious forest to Petek's pond. This artificially created biotope is home to various insects and amphibians, so take some time to stop and observe the small living creatures.

Rep Waterfall, a hidden cascade that soothes. The route, scenic in places, leads to a 25-metre-high picturesque cascade with two water basins. Take time to rest and listen to the soothing water that slides over the rocky overhangs and comes to a lazy stop in the green pools. The perfect spot to disconnect and take a beautiful photograph.

Access to the starting point and information:
