From Slovenska Bistrica to Žiče

At the Žvikart Apiary, we have devotedly preserved the rich heritage of beekeeping for more than seven decades. We are unique in Slovenia, as our apiary combines the two highest professional beekeeping titles: Qualified Beekeeping Worker (earned by Franc in 1956) and Master Beekeeper (earned by Aleksander in 2006). Today the family story is passionately continued by the third generation, who care for top-quality bee products with knowledge and love.

The Church of St. Anne sits quietly above the town of Slovenske Konjice. It is a former castle chapel that has retained almost all of its 16th-century character: it is a traditional sacral building with strong Renaissance elements. Today, set in the middle of the old cemetery, it serves as a cemetery church. All around it, old tombs and graves bear witness to the towns lavish history.

The Old Castle on Konjiška gora is one of the oldest and largest castles in our country. Now in ruins, it stirs the imagination and offers visitors a magnificent view.
