Mozirski gaj is a flower park and open-air ethnographic museum in Mozirje, created by Slovenian gardeners and locals in the 1980s. It arose from an overgrown market-town common where there had been illegal rubbish dumps. In this way, they transformed the desecrated land into a flower park. It lies on the right bank of the Savinja River, spreads over an area of 7 ha, and is open from mid-April to mid-October. The Church of the Holy Spirit at Podolševa is a wonderful scenic church high above the valleys of the Savinja Alps, known for its peaceful atmosphere and stunning panoramas – visit it and experience one of the most beautiful viewpoints in northern Slovenia.
The place and the chapel are first mentioned in 1340. Later the place was simply called Pri kapeli (By the Chapel), and only in 1460 does the name Kokarje appear. From the very beginning the church has been a pilgrimage church. The first great gathering is recorded in 1460, when Abbot Kašpar led a procession from Gornji Grad in the middle of winter and his prayers were answered. That year the winter was very harsh; livestock perished from the cold and people died. Soon after the gathering, the weather grew warmer. In memory of this, a gathering is still held in Kokarje on every Lenten ember days.
The pillory is a stone column about two metres high with a characteristic cap, which originally stood on a stone base. An iron ring is fixed into the column, to which the convict was tied. This most often happened on Sundays or some holiday, when many people gathered to mock, taunt and make fun of the condemned at their expense

The church was built in 1493 and consecrated around 1500. The northern sacristy was built around 1670, and the bell tower around 1720. The nave was vaulted in 1770.

The church is first mentioned in the Gornji Grad land register in 1426. This Gothic church, built in the first half of the 15th century, has retained almost its entire original appearance. At that time the bell tower, the flat-roofed nave and the cross-ribbed vaulted presbytery were built. In the second half of the 15th century the nave was given a star vault. From the older furnishings, a Gothic winged altarpiece from around 1380 has survived, with scenes from the legend of St. Ottilia. The reliefs of St. Dorothy and St. Anne with the Virgin and Child on the pulpit date from the early 16th century.
The lake at Jezernik, also called Jezernik Lake, is located 2 km northeast of the village of Luče. It formed on a river terrace above the right bank of the Savinja.

The interactive raftsmens collection is designed so that visitors explore the subject for themselves and move freely through the space – the guide gives only a few basic prompts about rafting on Ljubno. Meanwhile, the collection of Palm Sunday bundles (butarice) is set up as a classic exhibition, led by a guide. The admission ticket is valid for both collections, which are located in the attic rooms of the Cooperative Hall.
The parish church of St Elizabeth is a Gothic building, which, however, lost its Gothic features in a fire in 1798; only the exterior Gothic buttresses and a few frescoes on the outer walls remained, which the restorer Viktor Povše very successfully rescued in 2000 and 2001 through careful removal of whitewash, consolidation, and precise, minimal retouching.
The Radmirje treasury holds exceptional significance within this pilgrimage church, having gathered gifts from the Austrian, Polish, French and Neapolitan courts. Among the preserved goldsmith treasures, two stand out for their quality: a gold chalice with paten, the work of the Parisian master R.J.August (1760), and a monstrance adorned with precious stones, the work of the Viennese goldsmith J.J.Wurth
At the mountain homestead of Kladje in Ter below Stari Stani, not far from the mountain lodge on Smrekovec, stands a magnificent linden tree (Tilia cordata) with a girth of 4.8 m and a height of as much as 31 m.
The Podvežak alpine pasture is a scenic pasture on the southwestern part of the Dleskovec plateau. It lies on a somewhat gentler slope east of Lastovec at an altitude of 1575 m.
On the eastern slope of Raduha, just above the tree line, lies the Loka alpine pasture. From the pasture, a beautiful view opens up over the Upper Savinja Valley and the mountains above it. In the distance we see the Menina plateau, a little closer Veliki Rogatec and some of the easternmost peaks of the Savinja Alps above Lučnica.
The Arta alpine pasture is located on the southwestern part of Raduha, near the Snežna Cave. From the pasture, on which a shepherds hut stands, in fine weather a wide view opens up over the hills around the Savinjska Valley and the highest peaks of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps.
The Ravne alpine pasture is a working pasture located on the southeastern edge of the Dleskovec plateau.

The house at Foršt 51, locally known as "Pri Fašunu", is a designated cultural monument. Together with its farm building, it represents a unified type of elongated dwelling. The homestead, with its modest design and courtyard, represents the home of a small farmer, a "vlcer" or forest worker and raftsman.
The church, first mentioned in 1395, had its nave rebuilt in the second half of the 15th century along with the star-vaulted presbytery, which has been preserved to this day. The main and side altars are fine examples of golden altars from the second half of the 17th century.

Vrbovec Castle stands at the confluence of the Dreta and Savinja rivers in Nazarje. In historical documents it appears under the German name Altenburg, while the Slovenian name Vrbovec is an old Slovenian expression meaning "among the willows" that once covered the banks of the Dreta River. The original castle, built on a rocky outcrop in the middle of the complex, dates to at least the first half of the 12th century, while its present form is thought to have been acquired around 1480. Among the castles owners are mentioned the Patriarch of Aquileia, the Counts of Vovbre, the Counts of Celje and the Habsburgs, until in 1615 it was bought by the Diocese of Ljubljana, which kept it under its own management right up until the Second World War...

The Franciscan Monastery Nazarje is a Roman Catholic Franciscan monastery in the parish of Nazarje. It is located on the Gradišče hill next to the Church of the Annunciation of Mary. A chapel of the Mother of God originally stood on the hill, built between 1624 and 1628 by the Ljubljana bishop Tomaž Hren. Over the years it was visited by more and more pilgrims who needed care. For this reason Hrens successor, the Ljubljana bishop Rinaldo Scarlicchio, entrusted the chapel to the Franciscans in 1632. They built a monastery and the present church next to the chapel...

The Church of St. John the Baptist in Šentjanž is first mentioned as early as 1347. Originally it had no bell tower, which was only added in the 15th century. At that time a large fresco of St. Christopher with the Christ Child was covered over, of which both heads remain visible today. In the mid-19th century the church was almost entirely rebuilt. Set into the church tower are a Roman tombstone and an altar to the sun god Mithras, who was worshipped by Roman soldiers.
Beside the Church of the Annunciation of Mary and the Franciscan monastery stands the monastery of the Second Order of St. Francis, the Order of the Poor Sisters of St. Clare, the Poor Clares. Fourteen sisters currently live there. The founder of the Order of the Poor Clares was St. Clare of Assisi, who lived from 1193 to 1253. By a decree in 1782, Emperor Joseph II dissolved all monasteries of the Poor Clares. After an absence of nearly two hundred years, the Poor Clares returned to Nazarje in 1978, and in 2003 they celebrated the 25th anniversary of their return.

It was formed by underground waters flowing from the karstified Dleskovec Plateau. Bones of a cave bear were found in it, which are on display at the Regional Museum in Celje.

In the town of Rečica stands a single-storey stone building called the Tavčar Mansion. In German documents it is named Tautscher Hof. It was built in the 16th century in the Renaissance style. It took its name from Bishop Tavčar, who bought it in 1590 from its then owner Janez Jurij Hurnus. The house became Tavčars private property.
